I winced as I looked up to see my hero, who was also coincidentally wearing a cape. But the ringing was not enough to drown out the loud voice of my best friend (and crush). The pain was almost unbearable, and I heard a ringing in my ears. Sadly, another hit was landed straight into my stomach. "Someone help." I croaked, still trying to regain my breath before he lands another hit on me. He was able to land a kick to my stomach, causing my breath to be knocked out and rendering me unable to move. I fell to the ground, trying to scrambled up to land a hit on him but to no avail. I heard the sound of his punch reverberate in my ears, almost feeling as if that sound worsened the pain of the punch. Sadly, being the poorly coordinated person I am, I was unable to dodge his attack. "Since you let that little punk run away, I guess you'll have to be the one that my anger will get taken out on." He said as he smirked evilly and swung towards my face. I gulped as I looked at the monster before me, anticipating what he'll do next. "T-Thank you, lady!" He yelled as he scurried away from the scene. "Hey! What do you think you're doing?" I yell to the larger monster, distracting him and allowing a moment for the smaller one to run away.Īs he did though, he fell onto his face, not being able to catch himself because of his lack of arms. "Oh, please as if Undyne would ever talk to a little shrimp like you." He sneered mockingly, slowly inching towards the smaller monster. "I-I'll tell Undyne if y-you don't stop!" He said staring at the larger monster with feigned determination. I walked around to the back of Grillby's in order to see what the commotion was only to see a small, yellow monster being cornered by a larger monster. I walked through Snowdin, taking in the scenery, snickering slightly as I saw a rabbit walking a smaller bunny on a leash. I had gone there to meet up with Papyrus, but he was running late and said he would be there in an hour. It all started when I was on my way to Grillby's. I laid there helplessly as a large monster continued to punch and kick mercilessly. If the harsh words weren't enough to make me cry, then the searing pain in my abdomen would be. ![]() Thank you so much for requesting! This will all be from your perspective. ![]()

1/3/2024 0 Comments Cataplexy attack meaning![]() ![]() In about 10 percent of cases, narcolepsy runs in families. Less often, the cause of narcolepsy is an injury that damages the brain. Their immune system mistakenly turns against their body and attacks the brain cells that produce hypocretin. sudden attacks of muscle weakness in the daytime (cataplexy) Cataplexy is the least common symptom of these, and many people with narcolepsy never experience it. Some people experience hallucinations and sleep paralysis when they’re falling asleep or waking up.Ĭertain people with autoimmune disorders are more likely to get narcolepsy with cataplexy. The lack of hypocretin makes it hard for someone to stay awake during the day, blurring the line between wakefulness and sleep. That loss of muscle tone causes you to lose control over your body when you’re awake. It’s the same loss of muscle tone that naturally happens during rapid eye movement (REM) sleep. The loss of muscle tone, cataplexy, happens because sleep and wakefulness overlap in narcolepsy. When it’s in short supply, your brain has trouble regulating your sleep-wake cycles. The identification of cataplexy in these animals led to the discovery of narcolepsy in these animal species. This chemical, which is produced in a brain region called the hypothalamus, controls sleep and wakefulness. Nishino, in Encyclopedia of Neuroscience, 2009 Cataplexy and Hypocretin/Orexin Deficiency Cataplexy is also a hallmark symptom of narcolepsy in animals, such as dogs and mice.
